  1. Settings tab

    Hostname: smtp.cox.net
    Username: Cox email id.
    Password: Cox password.

  5. Then tap the Next button.

    You need to check the Email and then tap on the Save button.

  6. Tap the email id you created just now and then select the Advanced tab.

    Check the details provided is correct –
    Use SSL: on.
    Identity check: password.
    Server port: 110.

  7. Now check the settings of the Outgoing server and hit on smtp.cox.net to check the details are correct-

    Use SSL: on.
    Identity check: password.
    Server port: 25.

  8. Done

    Tap the Done button and restart the device so that the settings you set activate on it.

How to sync Cox business email on iPhone?

Let’s look at the steps to sync the Cox business email on the iPhone.

  1. First and foremost, from the iPhone visit the Settings app.
  2. Under Settings, you need to click on the Passwords & Accounts option.

      • For IMAP, remove 143 and then type 993.
      • For POP, remove 110 and then type 995.

  8. Now in Primary Server, click on SMTP. cox mail.com.
  9. Now for the Outgoing Mail Server enter the details –
    • Make sure SSL is allowed.
    • Server Port field, remove 25, and then type 465. If error then types 587 instead of 465.
    • Hit the Done Button.
  10. Now, proceed to click the Account option. 
  11. Lastly, click on the Done button.

Cox Email won’t send on iPhone

  • SSL enabled.
